My name is John Njoroge — though many people know me by different names. Some call me Sir John, others know me as Producer John, and many of my students simply call me “Mwalimu” (Teacher).
I am a Kenyan digital media expert, digital skills educator, and entrepreneur passionate about helping people discover the power of practical skills.
My journey into digital media began with hands-on work — learning how digital tools can turn ideas into real impact.
Through working in web design, video production, live streaming, and digital content creation, I gained practical experience in both the technical and creative sides of digital media. Over time, I realized something important:
Many people were eager to learn these skills.
They wanted to know how to build websites, design graphics, edit videos, run live streams, and grow online — but they often lacked access to practical guidance, mentorship, and real-world training.
Instead of keeping this knowledge within professional projects, I began sharing what I knew with others.
What started as helping a few individuals understand digital tools soon became something much bigger.
Students began gaining real confidence in their abilities. Some started supporting church media teams, others began producing digital content, while many discovered how digital skills could open doors to new opportunities.
Seeing this transformation inspired me to create Aube Skills Hub — a place where people could learn practical digital skills in a structured and supportive environment.
Alongside training, I also run Aube Creative, a digital media company where we work with organizations and individuals on real projects including:
